Francis’s mission is to deliver the highest standards of naturopathic medical care.  His aim is to restore health, balance relationships, and prevent disease.  He hopes to bring harmony in the lives of people he interacts with, and he seeks to help those in need find purpose and drive to become their best selves.

About Francis Lee Poe

Francis Lee Poe is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the state of Oregon. He sees patient’s in Portland, Oregon.

His undergraduate alma mater is the University of Arizona. While there he earned a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology in 2008. After his undergraduate he completed a massage therapy program at the Ashland Institute of Massage. He worked for two years as a behavioral health case manager, and while working at a state funded behavioral health agency, he decided to enrich his life by pursuing higher education. So began his lifelong pursuit to study nature and medicine. He received his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in 2017 and he started his own naturopathic practice in 2019.

More About Francis

He started rock climbing when he was 16 years old, and he has experienced a wide breadth of climbing from bouldering, sport climbing, traditional climbing, solo climbing, and mountaineering. In another life he used to compete in track and field as a pole vaulter. The last time he looked he still had his high school pole vault record. He finds enjoyment in teaching, and he has always found a way to be of service to others in this capacity. Be it as a track and field coach, pole vault coach, climbing instructor, palpation instructor, biochemistry tutor, and a physical education instructor. Currently, he teaches kinesiology at East West College of the Healing Arts.

At an early age, Francis was taught qigong from his father, and he later studied with teachers from the Jin Jing Gong lineage. Throughout his many years of qigong experience he has found it to be one of the most enriching and rewarding practices. If you ask him about qigong, he will likely tell you that qigong is like digging a deep well that has an infinite reserve of nourishment.
